What A Week....
This week has been a true blessing to our family. Wednesday Kenna was adopted, Saturday Kenna was sealed to us, and Sunday Kenna was blessed. This week could not have gone better if we wanted it to. I think Kenna knew something was going on because she really didn't sleep this weekend. Eric and I went to bed about 12 to 12:30 and Kenna was still up when we went to bed. I woke up about 4am and she was up. I went back to sleep and woke up at 5am. We got ready to go to the temple and Debbie Tennant (mom) went with us to the temple that early bless her heart. Anyway the kids were up, fed and running around in their diapers. Eric's parents came in on Friday night took us out for dinner, visited for a while, and drove to the Erskine's for the night. They met us at 6 am to watch the kids for a couple of hours and then brought them to the temple. We were waiting for the kids to come in and get Kenna sealed to us to make our family complete for time and eternity. I had bought Kenna's dress but I had not seen her in it so I was anxious to see how she looked. Of course Kenna looks absolutly fabulous in anything. She looked beautiful. Corrie and Andy Scheidegger came to the temple and Corrie carried Kenna in both of them were just glowing. Dale and Barb Erskine were at the temple with us and everything was just great. I enjoyed our time at the temple and everyone that came and supported us. After getting sealed we met outside and I wish I had brought my camcorder because Dale Erskine did a little shindig dance for Ayden so he would smile and it was hilarious. We took pictures and then went our separate ways again. Sunday came and Kenna got blessed in the church to recieve her name that she will be called here on earth. She wore her sealing dress and again was beautiful. My parents were there for Kenna's blessing and this was exciting for me because they got to see our children and be there for her special day. Jheri and Tiffany Nerri were there as well. I wanted to let everyone know how thankful I am for everyone that was there. I especially wanted to thank our parents for coming all this way just to be here for our beautiful daughter and handsome son. I am so thankful and love each one of you. Thank you to everyone we are grateful for all the love and support we receive.

Kissie Kissie Kissie.....
Eric was holding Ayden and Kenna the other night when he got home from work. He is so awesome with the kids its unbelievable. Anyway Ayden is a big kisser and he gives open mouth kisses, yum yum I know. I had the camera out and I took a few pictures of Ayden giving daddy kisses. Kenna is still trying to figure out how to give kisses. I love when they learn something new and always want to do it over and over if they get a good reaction. Naturally when they learn to give kisses you take what you can get regardless of the outcome of how its done.

Kenna's first big day
Today was one of Kenna's first big days. She was adopted and looked beautiful. The adoption went great much different than Ayden's. We were asked a lot of questions and there were a few people there that had great things to say about us. I don't think Eric and I looked at ourselves as good parents until today. It feels great to call Kenna our daughter, officially. We have been seriously blessed and we couldn't have had a better team working with us. All of Kenna's workers were at the adoption. Patrick Hanby was Kenna's ongoing caseworker, awesome guy, he was with us from the very beginning. By the way this was his first case to be finalized, he was like a proud dad. Latalia White was a case worker who we just met that day. She was with Pat. Lisa Miller is our Foster Support Worker. Lisa was with us with Ayden and then Kenna. We actually told Lisa that we wanted a little girl and she went right to work. Kenna was placed with us about 2 weeks after we told her we wanted a little girl. Lisa was at both Ayden and Kenna's match committee, adoptive placements, and adoptions. Margie Davis was Kenna's Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) or attorney. She made it and gave some great input of info. in fact everyone did. And finally the magistrate was Kendal M. Coes he was a substitute magistrate. We were supposed to have the same magistrate Ayden had but he was called to a meeting and he wasn't able to be there with us. Anyway we got it all done and our beautiful Kenna is finally ours next step, the temple another big day.

My little helper.....
For Aydens Birthday we got him a little vacuum cleaner. Sounds strange to get a boy a toy vacuum but he loves it. He tries to help me vacuum everyday so I decided to get his own. The actual reason for him getting his own vacuum is so he can learn early to clean and get things done. I am all for child labor (just kidding). Anyway my little helper tries even though his doesn't do much good for me he thinks he is helping out. I think it's so cute and I absolutely love having him try so hard to help me out. I can't wait till he gets older and can really help me out. I have him on the right track. Next kid Kenna, she will learn to do dishes first:)

Ayden's Birthday
We had a great time at Ayden's birthday party. His big day was September 7th. Eric told me I can't spend to much money because 1 we don't have the money for it, but who does seriously, and 2 it is just his first birthday. Needless to say I went all out and we went to Chuck E Cheese's for his birthday, and you know that wasn't cheap. Eric's blood pressure was a little high but I think he had fun when it was all done and over with. On the flip side I made his cupcakes. Anyway Ayden did great turning one and his sister is waiting to get a birthday party just as good (ha ha ha).
Fantastic Four
Hey everyone I'm new to this so bare with me. I would like to tell you a little about my family and myself. I am the most grateful wife to a brilliant husband, Eric. I am 27 years old and I feel like I'm eighty. I am attending school to become an elementary teacher. Eric is 28 the old fart and he is a graphic designer. We have been married 9 years and still doing great. We had been trying to have children since we were married and we were never successful, or so we thought. Ayden is our oldest he came into our home when he was 21 days old, very handsome little guy with a full head of hair. When we got him he had straight dark hair with natural highlights, now if you look at the little guy it looks like he stuck his finger in a light socket and didn't release (still cute). Ayden was adopted on April 25, 2007, and sealed to us on May 26, 2007. Ayden is a daddy's boy. Kenna is our beautiful little girl she came into our home when she was 12 days old, gotta love her. Kenna is a mommy's girl and everyone knows it. We will be adopting her December 5, 2007 and she will be sealed to us December 8, 2007. By the way did I mention that our children are only 6 months and 4 days apart. Be careful what you ask for because you never know what you are going get ha-ha-ha. In the long run I like to think of my family as the fantastic four, honestly how much better can it get.
