Ayden's hair is almost impossible to brush without him being all over the room fighting you and screaming. I will give him the credit he deserves he does not do anything without a fight. So I tried brushing his hair one morning and he was fighting me again. I got fed up with it and took him down to get his hair whacked off. He went in weighing 30 pounds and came out weighing 24, just kidding but it did take some weight off like 1/4 pound maybe. This kids hair grows so fast it is unbelievable. Anyway my baby boy does not look like a baby anymore he looks like he is growing up into a real boy ha ha. He looks great and his head is so much easier to brush.
On the beautiful days we like to get dressed and go outside and have a little fun. Thank goodness for sunshine and nice days. The kids love running around outside and running away from us. They don't talk real good right now but I think they are saying "Oh please let me get away from these weird adults and find something interesting to go to." I am thankful they can't talk right now except the few words they are saying. I can only imagine what they are really saying when they are talking to us having a serious conversation with us. Anyway we had a blast and can't wait until we have another awesome day.
The kids were digging into things as usual and found Ayden's sunglasses they were taking turns putting them on, and then beating each other down trying to get them from one another. When each one put the shades on we would tell them they looked so cool. The smile they had on their faces was priceless. Anyway they think they looked cool and I had to just laugh at them. Love those babes.
I always make New Year's Resolutions and never seem to follow through with them. This year I made one and I am going to try to help. My resolution is to have good health. This last year I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and it has really taken a toll on me. I wanted to make sure this year I take extra care of my body so I can take care of my family. I don't want to get to the point in my life to where I rely on someone else to take care of me. Anyone who knows me knows I am not like that. I want to be able to be a healthier person so I can do things with my husband and my children and nothing holding me back. We all have trials to overcome and battles to win and by golly I am going win. I also wanted to be a better person and friend to those around me. I am a hard person to get along with and a hard person to get to know so I want to be able to be a better person and a loving one at that.
Well this was it. This was our first christmas where everyone was official. Our family was complete. We started off with our carried on tradition from Eric's side of the family of orange juice and cinnamon rolls. Kenna as usual loved them and Ayden well he was kinda hesitant about the whole thing. Eric and I were so excited because we got to get up and do the whole presents thing first thing after the juice and cinnamon rolls. The kids were sticky and ready to tear into the presents.
If you didn't already know this my kids are food and drink junkies they both love to eat when the food is good. To them they only know my cooking so it has to be good to them whether they know it or not (to be honest the cooking is probably not the best but don't tell them not yet anyway). The kids got their presents and I think they had a good Christmas I hope they did anyway. I loved watching them as they got new things and played with them. I think I enjoyed their gifts more than they did. But of course not as much as Eric he played all day with the toys and wore out Kenna's new baby mp3 player little brat. I am so thankful for all of our blessings and the family we became in just a years time I feel so blessed.
Didn't mean to give "hind" sight of the cat sorry he just popped in there last minute.
